This is just a cool tree that was by the school we were painted. That snail is about the size of a baseball. Pretty gross eh?

first time coming across a blog of someone who had been to sri-lanka through blogexplosion.
hope you had a good time in sri-lanka. we have a crap/corrupt government hence we always need foreign assitance in everything we do. :|

esoolimes, I don't know much about your government... what stands out in my mind is that when I was there most of the people were so friendly. Sure, not everyone was but to a high degree they were. I was also struck by the fact that so many people spoke english there, once again I find a country where being bilingual us the norm, not the exception(as in the US...)
